Jean Pierre Lehmann
Jean-Pierre Lehmann, a Senior Fellow of the Fung Global Institute, undertakes and leads research projects on a range of subjects that include international trade and global governance.
He is also Professor of International Political Economy at IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland and founder of The Evian Group @ IMD, an international coalition of business, government and opinion leaders committed to an open, inclusive, equitable and sustainable global market economy in a rules-based multilateral framework.
Professor Lehmann, advises governments and corporations and is a frequent commentator in the international media. He has spent most of his professional life working on and in Asia. He is the author of several books and papers primarily dealing with globalization, modern East Asian history, East Asia and international political economy.
He obtained his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University, Washington DC, and his doctorate from Oxford University.
